Behind the Gala
Shining a Light on Service, Raising Support for Baker County
The Lions & Ladies: Stars of Service Gala isn’t just an evening of elegance — it’s a celebration of the people and organizations whose time, energy, and heart strengthen Baker County.
By gathering for this event, we honor their extraordinary contributions while raising vital support for scholarships, literacy efforts, health programs, veteran care, and community initiatives that make life better for everyone.
This gala is about turning recognition into action — shining a spotlight on service while fueling the resources that keep our community thriving.
It also marks a historic collaboration between two of Baker County’s most respected service organizations: the GFWC Woman's Club of Macclenny and the Lions Club of Macclenny, joining forces for the first time to host a large-scale fundraising celebration dedicated to those who serve others.
Join us for a night of elegance, purpose, and lasting impact. Tickets go on sale November 1st, 2025.

The Impact We Make
Join Us to Celebrate and Fund Essential Programs That Transform Lives and Create Lasting Impact in Baker County, Florida.
At the heart of the evening are the Stars of Service Awards, honoring exceptional nonprofit organizations that have been nominated by the community for their dedication to improving lives in Baker County.
This ceremony will celebrate nonprofits across a wide range of causes—including youth programs, education, healthcare, food security, senior services, and veteran support.
While the gala celebrates all the nonprofits working to uplift our county, a portion of the evening’s fundraising will go directly to local nonprofit organizations with whom the GFWC Woman’s Club of Macclenny and the Lion's Club of Macclenny work with directly.
These groups have been chosen for their meaningful work in Baker County and their stories will be shared throughout the night to inspire giving and support. These groups are The Arc North FL, Isaiah 117 House Baker County, and the First Coast Women's Center.
